Here's what the park owners had to say about TOCO Festival!

"Just wanted to let you know what a great job you guys did running the event!  We have lots of groups book events here each season and honestly, yours was managed better than any we can think of.   The guests were all really great too. So polite and considerate. One of our employees mentioned to me that even the children were extremely polite. We notice that groups tend to have a personality as a whole and I would describe the TOCO vibe as gentle and kind."

TOCO Festival Founder, Kim Vrooman Interview:

HISTORY OF TOCO FESTIVAL
& Tapestry of Community Offerings NFP 501(C)(3):

The TOCO,Tapestry of Community Offerings 501(C)(3)
 mission
began twelve years ago when The Shelter Shop, a thrift store that supported The Woman’s Crisis Center of Belleville, Illinois, burned
to the ground.   We decided we needed to act fast to help rebuild the shop.
A dear friend of ours Kyme Laws, offered her property, Twin Oaks Golf Club, near Carlyle Lake, Illinois, for the setting of the first Twin Oaks Camp Out Benefit which included music & spur of the moment camping.  The first year it poured buckets, & because it was the middle of October the weather was cooler than ideal, yet folks from the surrounding communities still came out to play & listen to some music, & show their support.

We all had so much fun that weekend, we realized that this was something we could do every fall to help the raise awareness & funds for individuals & community organizations in need.  So we built the idea & the mission & nine years later we are proud to say that because of support from local artists & musicians in the community who all donate their time out of the kindness of their hearts, & folks like you who continue to support TOCO efforts, we have been able to raise thousands of dollars to help bring education & enrichment to the public regarding the health & welfare of families and children.

In 2013 we once again  join with Jellystone  Park Six Flags St. Louis.   This venue is super fun, especially for the kids and campers!  We are grateful to be working with Jellystone family!
